DIGITAL INNOVATION HUBs

On 28 and 29 June 2018, a two-day workshop was held DIGITAL INOVACIJSKI HUBs starting at 9.00 am in HUB385, Petračićeva 4, 10 000 Zagreb. The aim of the workshop was to encourage co-operation of participants in the field of digital innovation hubs and discussion on industry potentials and technologies 4.0 and the challenges of digitization to improve the innovation of Croatian companies.

On the first day, the Law on State Support for Research and Development Projects (Bruno Radojica) and the Innovation Vouchers (Bruno Grbešić) were presented by the representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts of the Republic of Croatia. Representatives of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, presented the following topics: Industry 4.0 – Robotics and Business Opportunities (Prof. Ivan Petrović) and Internet Things – Technology and Business Opportunities (Dinko Oletic, Ph.D.). On the second day of the workshop, representatives of Area Science Park Paolo Panjek and Stefano Salvador presented themes: Impresa 4.0 – the Italian national plan for the implementation of Industry 4.0 and IP4FVG – Industrial Platform for Friuli Venezia Giulia: the DIH model in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

In addition to dealing with the topics discussed, the workshop allowed networking, exchange of experiences and encouragement of mutual cooperation between the stakeholders of the national innovation system.
