A few more days for applications to the Thematic Innovation Councils (TICs)
Ministry of the Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts, in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Economy, is informing the potential stakeholders about the possibility of applying for membership in the Thematic Innovation Councils.
The process of establishing a national innovation system is an ongoing process, which should ensure the implementation of incentive activities, synergies and efficient use of public and private resources for research, development, and innovation.
One of the main goals is to change the so-called governance model into the “policy” model of the network under which the private, scientific and public sector cooperate at the local, national and international level.
Strategies that carry out the most important activities related to the topic are:
- Croatian Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) for the period from 2016 to 2020.
- The Strategy for innovation encouragement of the Republic of Croatia for the period from 2014 to 2020.
The implementation of these strategies is also carried out through strategic projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund, where the current project is carried out by the Ministry of the Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts as the Project Holder and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce as a partner institution on the projects.
Thematic Innovation Councils (TICs)
A very important result of the strategic project “Innovation Network for Industry” (INI) and Thematic Innovation Platforms is the formation of Thematic Innovation Councils, for which the calls to all stakeholders was sent on October 29 and published on all relevant links (https://hgk.hr/poziv-na-iskaz-interesa-za-clanstvo-u-tematskim-inovacijskim-vijecima; https://mzo.hr/hr/poziv-za-iskaz-interesa-za-clanstvo-u-tematskim-inovacijskim-vijecima, https://www.mingo.hr/page/poziv-za-iskaz-interesa-za-clanstvo-u-tematskim-inovacijskim-vijecima).
